| Hello I am new here and I was immediately drawn to your post as a fellow Christian. My aoi is higher than yours: mainly teenagers. It has been an intolerable burden but I have lived my life as a celibate and have channelled my attachments to boys to helping and benefitting them in any way I can and admiring them from a distance.This is more difficult in today's paranoid western society. However I have had very close "boy" friends in a close platonic sense and the advantage of that is that there is no later recrimination. I am still on very good terms with them. As you say God knows our thoughts and if they are innocent he will no chide us. If they they are not he will but we who believe in Jesus Christ will always have salvation in his name. What I am saying of course does not apply who follow their own lusts and force themselves on children but then I think you know that. I wish you a very peaceful and blessed Christmas and may the grace of God which passes all understanding keep you and give you that peace which the world cannot give. |
