I think some kind of adolescent/late adolescent section could be quite useful indeed. Treating prepubescent and pubescent attractions as one group is flawed IMO, as it seems to manifest very differently. Adolescent attraction may have much more overlap with the gay community than either side would seemingly like to admit. For one, especially those later ages (16-19), legality is not some distant prospect but a lived reality. For another, such as those attracted to boys below 10, legality is little more than a pipe dream. Not to mention the obvious physical differences between the boys, and perhaps the underlying motives behind respective attraction. I'm unsure, though, how such a split would work, or if it would have enough of a support base here to sustain itself. I would be very enthusiastic about it, if it were to come to fruition, however. |
