I mean mine, that is (yours above is also well worth reading). I had forgotten about it; reading it again was not an entirely pleasant experience. Palpable evidence that my powers are slipping? I'm not sure I could bang out something as simultaneously erudite and concise today. FUCK OLD AGE!!!

I don't really have anything more to add either to yours or to mine.

For what it's worth, I still believe that human nature in its essence doesn't really change. Boys and men (well, some men -- many men) are always going to be interested in each other.

Caravaggio made the point more effectively in Amor Vincet Omnia than anyone else in history. As long as that painting remains on view (on-line or in person), hope remains.
