Thank you for the link.

I have already been going through archived discussions, including those related to my own banning in 2007.

Wikipedia now claims their reason for blocking self-identified MAPs is the protection of children using their site. I think I can demonstrate that they are dirty fucking liars.

It seems that ArbCom started quietly banning self-identified pedophiles before I made it blow up publicly. I'd like to know if Clayboy, who was one of the first people banned for identifying as a pedophile, was ever given a reason for his ban. I don't remember a lot from back then because it was so long ago.

Jimbo Wales banned him personally, the logged reason being "disruption, please ask arbcom or me privately about this if necessary". Then another admin, Fred Bauder, deleted his userpage for "Activity detrimental to the reputation of Wikipedia".

I am working on an article about the recent drama involving Connor Weston, Wikipedia, and the broader censorship of MAPs on mainstream platforms.
