One of the criticisms by the "antis" is that BoyLovers (supposedly) "molest" boys who are the most vulnerable, and that this is a truly terrible thing.
Boys who are needy, or rejected by others, they claim, should not be befriended by men who not only like to be around boys, but like to "pleasure" boys by giving them blowjobs.
See, the antis think that sex is always motivated by power and the need to control others, particularly women, but also, by extension, young boys. Google Chatbot:
The claim that sex is motivated by a desire for power and control over women is central to Kate Millett's work on "sexual politics" and is a common theme within radical feminist thought, especially concerning rape being an act of violence and control. While not solely attributed to one person, the idea that sex can be an expression of patriarchal power to control women's sexuality and resources is a key argument within feminist philosophy and has been explored by thinkers like Foucault.
Key Figures and Ideas
Kate Millett:
-- A pioneer in the field, she coined the term "sexual politics" and argued in her book of the same name that sex is inherently about power and control, especially in the context of gender relations.
Radical Feminism:
This branch of feminism argues that patriarchy, or male dominance, is a fundamental form of oppression, and that sexual relations are often a primary tool for men to assert power and control over women and their bodies.
Foucault:
His work on power and sexuality, while complex, explores how power operates to create new forms of sexuality and social constructs, including the very idea of "sexuality".
Historical Feminists:
Many feminist arguments have supported the interpretation that the suppression of female sexuality throughout history has been a method for men to maintain societal power and patriarchal control over resources and women's lives.
Broader Context
Power Dynamics:
-- The assertion that sex is motivated by power aligns with broader theories that see sex as intertwined with social status and dominance within many societal structures.
Critique of Power Structures:
By connecting sex to power, these arguments aim to expose and challenge the underlying power dynamics that contribute to the sexual subordination of women.

While sex may sometimes, for some men, be a "power trip" over woman, that does not seem to be the case with BoyLovers and their boys. BoyLovers do NOT express an interest in dominating and controlling boys, according to the best available research.
There are many theories concerning why BoyLovers like boys. Most of them are not supported by good evidence.
One theory (by John Money) is that pedophilia is an overflow of parental pairbonding into erotic pairbonding, and that we wish to "father" needy boys.
Some evidence seems to support that theory.
