Ever since BoyChat started over 25 years ago, there have been attempts by the "antis" to disrupt BoyChat. Sometimes the "antis" have been BoyLovers themselves who have bought into the narratives about child innocence, harm to children, etc. that the traditional "antis" have promoted. There is hope for those BoyLovers, as they can learn to accept themselves. I have posted links to many books and articles that help to dispel the myths that they operate under. Sometimes the "antis" have just tried spamming the board, you know, with "Die Pedo Die!" posts. But that doesn't work, as those posts are quickly moved to the slime board. There are posters who are actually antis, but pretending to be BoyLovers, who make ridiculous and absurd claims about other posters (especially about those who introduce information demonstrating that adult/child sexual interactions are usually--or almost always--seen by young people as positive) in an attempt to disrupt the board. But even that doesn't always work. So the antis have become more creative. The question for them is, how can they make BoyChat a less desirable site to visit, and how can posting by real BoyLovers be discouraged? I think we see an example of that with the new poster. Unfortunately, attempts to make BoyChat a less-enjoyable place to visit have been successful to some extent. Many posters have remarked, when they decided to leave, how the campaigns of harassment against certain posters makes BoyChat an unpleasant place to visit. Others "antis" have posted sig-pics that paint BoyLovers in a bad light, for example there was a poster with the sig-pic of a grossly obese man sitting at a keyboard, suggesting that those posting at BoyChat look like that man. The fact is that the posters at BoyChat are a heterogenous group (a group consisting of many different kinds of people) so obviously saying all people posting are fat old men is absurd. I suspect that JakobBL is part of a not-so-subtle PSY-OP (psychological operation) to disrupt BoyChat He has done this by posting a very disgusting (to most BoyLovers, as research has shown) sig-pic. He also included an insecure Yahoo e-mail address, inviting contact by unsuspecting BoyLovers which could lead to the outing (it's a long story explaining just how) of innocent BoyLovers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_operations_(United_States) There are several things about his sig-pic which make me suspicious. But I am not going to go into detail about the sig-pic, because I don't want the antis to know how to seem more convincing when they post here. Are there BoyLovers who claim to be attracted to fat slobs (excuse my characterization of the person in the sig-pic) and would like to view such images? A couple of posters have said they like fat boys, but those posters tend to say that they are attracted to adults as well, including men and women, which makes their claim to be "real" Boylovers suspect. But even these posters post innocuous sig-pics. I suspect that one of the current "antis" posting on the board has either himself (or herself), or through an acquaintance, created that poster's character as part of their current attempt to discourage posters at BoyChat. I cannot remember EVER seeing such a disgusting sig-pic used by a BoyLover before on BoyChat! There are a number of other things that make me suspicious of that poster but, as I said before, I don't want to teach the antis how to seem more convincing in their attempts to disrupt BoyChat. TL;DR--Ignore that poster, as well as anyone who supports that poster! M. ...which is what I am going to do in the future, not least because I really dislike that sig-pic! But it's not going to stop me from posting here...
