This is pretty grossly inappropriate. Whatever the choir might think, and whatever the rights and wrongs of their position, turning the Eucharist into a bit of factional grand-standing is utterly reprehensible. I would quite like to burn them, but I admit I'm a bit of a conservative when it comes to church discipline. None of them should ever be allowed back.

In other news, I have noticed a boy in my local church choir. Just the one, mind, but green shoots and all that. Where there is one others may follow.
