Here is one example of you twisting someone's words: When you describe another person's words as "blah blah blah," and they respond with something like "well yeah it is boring and tedious to tease apart the tangled web you weave" the obvious meaning of that sentence was that it takes a long boring tedious paragraph to get to the bottom of a misrepresentation that you can make in just a few words, but then you respond by saying Ye, except that the blah blah blah refers to your text as if you had been accused of blah blah blabbery, when in fact you were not. How was I not being accused of blah blah blabbery? I said "blah blah blah" And in direct reply to that you said "it is boring and tedious to tease apart the tangled web you weave" referring to me. How is that not saying "You text is boring and tedious blah blah blah"? and if thats not what you meant then YOU are guilty of twisting words in this exact example. You twisted my "blah blah blah" to mean something different so you could have yet another jab at me. I notice that in your whole long diatribe, you did not address possibly the most important thing in my post, You dont know what my beliefs are. The fact that your beliefs are not fringe, and mine are ( if that is the case) means nothing. What matters is, whos belief is correct, yours or mine, and how do we determine that? Because if your belief is correct, and mine is false, then I must accept that and change my mind. How do we determine which belief is correct? You dont care whether your beliefs are true or not? Its almost like you just want to deflect and misdirect. |
