...could he be prosecuted further, say, in his own country? I think most (European) judges, after reviewing his case, would agree that he was under severe duress, so they would not fault him for taking the easy way out... Barring the potential for further legal complications, I'd recommend he just pay the fine. I wish him the best of luck, whatever happens! Let us know what happens, OK? M. Or so it seems to me... |
