If you spend enough time on social media, you'll have seen the recent story of Polish CEO Piotr Szczerek. He's standing next to a kid in the crowd of the US open. One of the players, who's signing autographs, takes off his cap and hands it to a boy in the audience. The CEO promptly snatches it right outta the kids' hands and stashes it away in his wifes' handbag. I really don't have the words for this and I won't bore you with some bitter & normative adjective salad. Pretty much everything that could be said about such a brazenly selfish and heartless act has been said already online. He even doubled down after the fact, tweeting: “The recent incident at the tennis match has caused a disproportionate online uproar. It’s all about the famous hat, of course. Yes, I took it. Yes, I did it quickly. But as I’ve always said, life is first come, first served,” Nothing like a good villain. Frankly this level of cartoonish evil is almost amusing. To be enraged at this, for me, was too easy, my anger didn't last long. Truthfully I am fascinated at his conduct, worldview and astonishingly cold attitude. Guys like this make for good case studies. Oh yeah, not to mention, the kid is super duper cute too. I've been crushing on him for days. Total stunner. Look at those curls!
