Daily Music Video 0086 RIP Frankie - Slytheryn

So today's daily video is probably going to be deemed N.E.B. not enough boy by my number one critic so be it.

Slitheryn was a band that started very local to my area back in the early 2000s. They were ages 11 to 14 and played the type of music I really wanted to listen to.

So when it came time for their first mini cd to drop they had promoted themselves through a few record stores gigs playing short sets inside the stores. I went to a couple of them and was really impressed with the band.

Got up close and personal with Frankie who was 12 at the time. Well, not exactly what you think I just got his autograph on the cd I purchased after standing less than 4 feet of where I was standing during their short sets. I also got sprayed with a touch of boy sweat at the first event from the energy of Frankie's stage presence.

Later on Slitheryn got noticed by Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour and the band actually got to tour in Japan

So today while you might not get to see much of Frankie it's the music I'm highlighting here. Frankie is about 13 in this video. I'll add a longer video below this link highlighting the band.

Frankie passed away in 2020 at the age of 34
