I suffered from agoraphobia for years and I think it started from stress about my sexuality, panic attacks are horrible things, you just die every time they occur. I urge you to read up about them, they are fundamentally harmless, and you must face up to that and face your fears head-on knowing that the more you do this purposely the weaker they become. What is your trigger that panic will ensue? If you feel unreal then learn to let it pass without the expectation that the feeling will grow into a full grown panic attack. It only worsens because of the expectation of fear and hyperventilation. Hyperventilation is too much oxygen in the body and a lack of carbon-dioxide which triggers breathing normally. It may sound crazy but hold your breath for about 10 seconds and you will find that you inhale a deep breath. It is curable and I hope you overcome it soon. ![]() |
