If I were you, I'd first ask for the contact details of whomever curates that collection--assuming that that person has an interest in Douglas, which may be the case. If you were to ask a direct question about that quotation, the person responding may not take you seriously--you never know people's attitudes about sexuality, especially "pedosexuality"...
