They are, of course, full of shit. Stop listening to them! Younger people are very often attracted to older people, because older people have money, power, and greater experience in life. "How do I find more boy lovers? How do I know if a boy lover is interested in me?" I assume that you masturbate to fantasies of having sex with other people--males, I assume--who are sexually mature. This is normal. A "gay" male will be attracted to you, but they often will not take the huge risk (in certain legal jurisdictions) of initiating a sexual relationship with you. You need to find a good book that describes gay "cruising". That will explain things better to you. "Cruising" involves stylized body language, and eye movements. Just learn them, and you'll be fine. Consider preparing to move abroad when you get older, to one of the non-Enlish-speaking countries around the world. The English-speaking countries around the world have very sick ideas about sex.
