Dark humor is fine but the other party I was responding to wasn't projecting dark humor. I really believe he views boys as throwaway commodities.

Obviously, friendships beyond his sexual desire of boys doesn't seem possible for him. He'll never know the joys of friendships made with boys lasting decades.

I still have contact with several of my former Y.F.s and here I haven't had a Y.F in 30 years

Where there was sexual desire (fulfilled or not) those desires always faded when the boy reached adult maturity. But that didn't mean that I didn't still like and desire the friendships made in the process. Some friendships faded entirely their choice not mine

One can still love the boy inside the man no matter what the puberty monster did to him.

sThere's no such thing as a throwaway boy in my book. So, not expiration date needed
