Good thing I won't be taking Tyred's advice below of offering the boy a Banana instead of an ice cream sandwich on a hot day. I just can't stop thinking of the imagery of watching the boy opening his mouth wide to eat a banana. That's not where my mind needs to be. Some people have to be really careful about what they are suggesting as alternatives to junk food. As far as being business like. Defining that further I mean sure I'd be friendly as can be but for my safety and his no invites to the inside of my home will be an option no matter who is okay with that situation it's strictly off limits. Thankfully I don't have a cool car or motorcycle that would intice him to ask for a ride but if by chance he needed one that might have to be a no as well unless it really was an emergency situation. There's already a slight update to this story seems the money earned from one lawn isn't enough for him and he's gone around asking the neighbors for work. And here I've been thinking the younger generations keep getting lazier and lazier maybe there's hope after all. I really need to stop thinking like the boomer I am.
