China is starting to realise that their population pyramid is going the way of pretty much every other wealthy country throughout modern history.. inverted.. with too many elderly non-working people in the future and too few young working people to support them financially. It's almost universally true that dictatorial leaders end up trying to squelch (non-reproductive) homosexual behaviour in order to boost their birth rate in order to, as I like to say, 'grow the tribe', or their economic strength will start to fade and die.

That, and them fucking religious freaks too.
