I think you and Mastuprator will agree with me. Of course there is biology of sex with XX and XY chromosome pairs, which divides kids into boys and girls. Manstuprator might be surprised, the intersex condition is not that rare, i learned that it is 1 in 1000. What we also know is the hormones in the second trimester influence the development of the brain. Moreover, we have feminine men and masculine women, which is just fine. A clock maker does not need muscles like The Rock. The strict binary gender roles are a thing of the past. If we think of gender roles as a spectrum rather than a dichotomy, then everybody is more or less trans. And trans (at least a little) is everybody who's gender role is not 100% the binary cis gender role. A trans boy is a girl who is a bit too boyish - they exist. And we should them live their life as they want it, as long as they do not bother others (too much). However, and you will agree with me, this does not make her a boy. I am not even against using "he" to describe "him". Ok, "he/him" is both for boys and trans-boys. BUT (and i am pretty sure, you agree with me), trans-women are still not women. They can claim the "trans-women" segment, but have no right to privileges reserved to women, like only competing against other women. If you asked me, i would divide sport competitions into 4 segments. |
