Those of us who’ve been part of this community for a while have seen these patterns come and go more times than we can count. It’s hard not to notice how often the same conversations repeat themselves, almost like a loop. Norbert, for example, has been sharing his identical thoughts in posts and videos for what, 25 years now? His consistency is hard to deny, but the message hits with a kind of blunt force that feels more exhausting than compelling. The delivery hasn’t evolved and does little to connect with anyone who questions his style, message, or approach, even slightly. It shuts down dialogue rather than inviting it. As for the assumptions being made about me: I’d encourage a bit of pause before making character judgments based on just a couple of posts. We all come into these conversations with our own experiences and perspectives, but jumping to quick conclusions usually reveals more about our own biases than about the person we’re judging. I’d like to think we all benefit from giving each other the space to show up as full people, not just avatars of our own biases. |
