It sounds pretty dire. I had hoped that there had been some resolution in Marthijn and Leslie's case - for the better - by now.

I have been reading of late about just how terrible Ecuador's prisons are. They are truly horrendous! It's just extraordinary that the Dutch Embassy appears to have done absolutely nothing on their behalf!
