I despise the term "MAP" as I've posted on several occasions, so I didn't see any point in re-iterating my opposition.

I agree with most of what you wrote in that essay -- what I disagree with is mostly what it omits rather than what it says.

But rather than go into that, I'd be curious, like Eric below, to know how and why your views have changed.
