Eric, I totally agree with you that boys need us in their lives and we need boys in our lives. When I hear a VirPed person talking about feeling like a danger to Children, I am just floored. Maybe that person is a real danger to Children (in the irrefutable way) or maybe our society has really fucked with their head that much. I don't know, but it could be they are younger and have had their thinking shaped by the hysteria we find ourselves in, maybe not...in either case, they are being influenced by the false "victim" narrative. If we don't want to be isolated individuals, then let's not isolate ourselves from them. Let's reach out and help them see our point of view. It's important to realize that deprogramming is a process. When I first started acknowledging my love for boys, I started by recognizing the emotions and love, but as I'm a good person I said to myself, "but I would never touch/hurt a boy, that's abuse!" It took some time for me to discover the research (or lack thereof) and historical accounts that challenge the "abuse" narrative. At this present point in my life, if the laws were different I would love a boy completely and fully (I have shared previously about the boy who got physical with me and I had to break his heart/let him down. I guess he groomed me despite the establishment's insistence that this can't happen!!!).
