The point is to organize against the stigmatization of difference. Recognition of difference, is not stigmatization. If an 110lb 5ft tall woman applies for a job lifting heavy weights all day, and doesnt get it, thats not stigmatization, thats recognition of difference. Is there any difference, in your opinion that SHOULD be stigmatized? We didn't create that distinction, it was created to attack us No it wasnt. Audre Lord, I think, was the one who said the master's house cannot be dismantled using the master's tools. This is your problem. You think of everything in terms of master and slave, or oppressed and oppressor. If you didnt do that, half your problems would go away. |
