No it wouldnt.

You dont get to go "what if" as if that proved anything, and then say that if I cant come up with my own theory, then yours is the correct one.

Not accepting your theory does not mean I have to have one of my own.

You can use "what if" to suggest anything. Doesnt make it true though.
