I was 10 years old and went with mu sainted mama to Severance Hall.

Maestro Christoph von Dohnanyi conducted some Mozart, pianist Leon Fleischer played a Mozart concerto, (I forget which one ATM), and then they did the fascinating 2nd Symphony of Charles Ives.

It kinda began a lifelong appreciation of classical music.....
