Film as time travel: Enfants pêchant des crevettes

This might be of interest. Someone has colorized the 1896 piece of film Enfants pêchant des crevettes, directed by Alexandre Promio for the Lumière company. (Best to download it and view it larger size.) It feels like looking through a window directly onto the past.

The full, uncolorized film can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPMzCfgDjoE

The boy is wearing the cutest hat. In the full version there is a second boy wearing identical clothes, presumably his brother (identical twin?).
