I'd say that prominently displaying photos of crying little boys, cringing in terror, huddled in a dark corner, in full color advertising campaigns, and on other child-saver charity materials soliciting money, counts as just one good example. What could such a child (imaginary though it may be, and created by clever Madison Avenue agencies) be in such fear and dread of, if not some kind of "monster"? And I'm not going to go into book publishers who publish books by "antis" that use professional agencies and "focus groups" to give more "impact" to their books and to increase sales.
