Here is a link to a YouTube piece by Aaron Kimberley, founder of the "Gender Dysphoria Alliance," and someone I've been corresponding with on Twitter for some years, who sent it to me when I asked him for a good intro to the subject. He is a Canadian trans-man who treats other trans people and children and adults with gender dysphoria in a clinical setting in British Columbia. I'm not sure if he is still using male pronouns but he has said that it would be impossible for him to go back to being a woman because the hormones and surgery have made that impossible. He does regret having undertaken transition but does accept it.

"The effects of Testosterone are permanent. For me to go back to being a woman would be like a man trying to become a woman."

He is disturbed by current trans ideology and the damage it does to gay kids.

"The drive or belief that you are the opposite sex typically abates by late adolescence or early adulthood." In other words, if dysphoria is "permanentized" through hormones or surgery, then the opportunity for it to naturally resolve is completely lost.

"Lesbian-specific voices and gay male-specific voices in academia were completely pushed-out and silenced when Queer Theory took over."
