It's against the rules to point out (aka nick-link) who is behind the "characters" portrayed here at BC. Furthermore, all a manipulative bait account needs to do is sling enough shit at BC's watchdogs to constitute a "ongoing feud," and from that point on the watchdogs are prohibited from even mentioning the names of those posters who are obvious bait accounts. It's almost as if the cogs are protecting the bait accounts if not running them. You may get warm fuzzy feelings by imagining that we are all in this together and it's those mean ol' "anti's" who are out to get us, but in order to believe that you'd have to ignore the fact that almost every single site catering to "pedos" that has ever existed has been infiltrated and taken over by law enforcement or antis, and in most cases the sites continued to operate seemingly as usual while the infiltrators identified as many of the site's users as possible. Even if the users were not prosecuted (yet!) their information has been retained forever just in case the funds become available in the future to investigate them for prosecution. In the past trecherous manipulators were much less sophisticated and all the cogs needed to do to connected a culpret to his sock puppet was note which posters posted from the same IP address, but those simple days are long gone. These days it's hard to tell the difference between a new VPN'd poster verses an old poster creating a new account, which they only access using that new VPN. Unless the person portraying themselves as being from South Africa slips up and makes a post from Australia before engaging their VPN, it is hard for the sys admin to connect the dots using IP address alone. With IP addresses becoming increasingly less valuable in identifying trolls, it just makes sense to assume that the admins have turned to other ways of identifying "trouble makers" by their monitor details, browser preferences, OS or even speech patterns. You are indeed old fashioned if you think that this community trusts it's members. In reality #DOSSIERS are being created by all sides according to what each group considers to be their enemies. You may be all for the admins keeping tabs on the "haters" but don't kid yourself into thinking that they could keep track of any one of us without compiling huge #DOSSIERS on all of us. Of course those #DOSSIERS are useful tools in the short term, but when the inevitable law enforcement raids eventually occur it isn't going to be the carefully VPN'd users data getting captured.
