Living a successful life that fills the soul with warm fuzzy feelings that harm was eradicated because you were there, you helped erase the abuse and gave back the life to a boy that was under siege. When you take this ideological belief, and multiply it in exponential growth as it becomes amplified you may just arrive at a civilization that resembles in some part the opinion you make today. A lot to swallow in what you wrote, but just off the cuff as I read your entry here, I'd say a lot of it is learned behaviour that comes from a good place, but in the end damages more then it benefits. The outcomes of overzealous interventions I suggest, do in fact long-term contribute to sad and traumatic results. |
