I don't think that my post will cause people think that I am in favor of violence against children. You are in favor of violence against children. Spanking is hitting. Hitting is violence. You are in favor of spanking, therefore you are in favor of violence. The fact that its not as bad as a severe beating, does not mean its not violence. Those who wish to accuse me of "being in favor of beating children" please include a link to this post. I have not accused you of being in favor of beating children. I have said that you are in favor of hitting children. You are in favor of hitting children, by your own admission. Imagine two men arguing in a bar. One decides to physically attack the other in an effort to dominate him. So he swats the other, with an open hand, on the other's buttocks. Which the other then reciprocates. They continue doing this until one or the other gives in. Wouldn't that be better than a fist fight? This is hilarious, and bears no relation to reality in any way. children have been spanked for millennia, and yet you still get fights and violence. |
