We are all inclined to put fences around our flower gardens.
It's nice and be happy that you can identify with that beautiful kid. I had a boyfriend in high school who looked and acted a bit like him. Sometimes I teasingly told him that I wanted to hide him in my school bag and then go to a secret place. He would give me a kiss and run away laughing.
