Yes, it is sad. Social sciences are not capable of objective research in this regard. I therefore do not believe that science can bring the recognition of paedophilia much closer. Theo Sandford himself is an example/victim of this. Under the influence of the zeitgeist, he came up with this important research. Actually, his interviews were not really sensational within the alternative society at the time he did them. Paedophilia was still tolerated in the Netherlands. But the tide turned and the witch hunt began. His work was labeled as third-rate and he was banned from his work at the university and he fled to the USA. |
