In any interaction between an adult and a child, the first question should be: does it benefit the child? Given society's bizarre attitude towards paedophiles, the answer will often be negative. But what if that social resistance would not be there, what then?
Don't we think it's quite normal that rich Western men are angling for women from poor areas? Just like poor women look for rich men? You may not find it really tasty, but it happens and we allow it to happen. Why shouldn't poor boys, who are looking for a better and more adventurous life, be allowed to look for men from the West? From the perspective of those boys, I think they're right, they have that right.
Nevertheless I doubt whether it is wise for the Westerner to embark on such an adventure. As with most relationships, it's better to have a period of exploration before committing to each other for a long time.
