For those in the US, Lamb is free to watch on Freevee / Plex / Tubi / Prime. Ironic there was a 2015 movie of the same name and similar theme, only involving Ross Partridge and a similar aged girl. I've seen Lamb several times and though I'm a Liam Neeson fan, have never warmed up to his performance here. Don't get me wrong, he was proficient as always, but something was missing. Maybe he just wasn't feeling the part. Also divided on the film itself. I really want to like it. I SHOULD like it. But truth is, I found it lacking in many ways, foremost being his motive. How could you be so resolute that you're doing the wrong thing, and yet do it anyway. Seems he had so many other better options to solve the problem. Anyway, good movie, just a bit flawed perhaps. |
