Jessy, few, if any, "class actions." Really, no opportunity, in most cases, of any lawsuits of any kind. No criminal prosecutions of various professionals, "Ph.D's" etc. unless someone actually broke a law. Even then, representatives of the state are not often held responsible for the laws they break in the course of their job, for that matter. As for happiness, we may have to redefine what it means to be happy :) But, possibly, yes, we may. The pilot project does sound like fun and such things actually happened in the '70s. It's going to be a while before that is possible, again. Some things in our society are majorly broken today and we've even been thrown for some unexpected loops in recent years such as the growing threat of fascism and the emergence of an insane and murderous movement like Qanon. This makes prognostication exceedingly difficult. The one good thing, or potentially good thing, that I see is that things can change very radically and very quickly. That could be either good or bad for us. |
