I wonder how old he was when castrated?

Sporus was born between 49 and 51 AD/CE so the youngest he could have been when castrated 13/14 and he died in 69 (17/20).

It's difficult to say what he thought about it because if things had worked out differently, he could have been one of the most powerful people in the empire for years. It didn't go well for him but that really wasn't his fault. Had any of his lovers lived, he would have done very well for himself.
