But everybody, regardless of age and gender. Woman also have sexual feelings, and maybe they are even more repressed than male sexuality in large part of society.
Yes, there are things that should be handled with care, like sexually transmitted diseases, or pregnancy. But all of this can be dealt with in normal terms, no need for punishment, stigmatization and shame. And normalization of sexuality does not mean it has to be open and public for everyone, discretion is still fine.

But where you hit the nail on its head is the profit of academia. In western world, there is quite some money connected to it, and people having found nice places within this system, so they will not dare to touch certain topics. And down the road, from social workers to the courts, there are many people who need to follow the official transcript.

A few threads down from here you read for example about the kids for cash story, which is just one more proof that only few actually care for kids, while within the system it is just more important to stick to the common narrative, and that means a man having sexual fun with a boy is punishable by life in prison without any chance of ever getting out, but giving thousands of kids a hard time they will never forget in their whole life, that will be forgiven by society quickly.

We cannot change this in society as a whole, but what if each of us changes this for himself and his family and friends?
