intelligence that dwarfs humans capacities, creation? Sure... To me it took some form of intelligence to will life. Could humanity be a subset of a long destroyed planet, brought here in the way "Superman" was in a kind of dormant state? So many questions, it's important to not get bogged down by an 1 absolute, and defend it to ridiculousness. These people of 2100 years ago... they had no clue at all about anything really, so stories, and rituals were the guiding way, the entertainment, the sanity of being so vulnerable in knowledge. At some point this species let's go, respects the former, and looks to science and in humbleness of all considerations goes forth. But for some they stall, make sexuality and erotic energy a most evil thing, and use this to punish and basically own male youth, teach them to fear, and deny that sexuality is proper, fun, or permissible. (All in the name of being good, like Jesus)
