Because MAP events are not BL events one advantage is that they inevitably include GLs. This means that by nature there is going to be less focused on talking about sexual interest in kids.

The MAP camp branding was mostly focused on MAP as an identity politics so it was mostly well done in that respect. But there were a few tongue-in-cheek jokes about "sexy children" through the material (which was only intended for MAPs to view) that antis with a slight deficiency in braincells took seriously (or pretended to take seriously for outrage points).

Activities planned included hiking, campfires and bingo. No poetry as far as I'm aware. But nothing illegal. Nothing overtly political. Nothing minor-focused.

The people organizing the event are primarily "anti-c" as far as I'm aware. And while anti-c people are still as capable of breaking the law as pro-c people, it does give me hope that it can stay as a "platonic" MAP gathering. Sure that means there's not as big a draw card for a lot of people. But we need basic fucking human rights first. Focusing on boys (or girls) in any kind of sexual way just gets us torn into shreds like the organizations and individuals that you mentioned.

We need to channel our sexuality into rage. That righteous rage needs to be what drives us.
