Why are these words awful? Politics.

You know this already. The words are factual and should enlighten, yet I've known many in my lifetime who admit this is reality but they will/would NEVER express that sentiment outside the confines of a very private conversation. That includes a now long-deceased psychiatrist.

It's possible Mr. Gold's "stance" is purely performative out of the need for self-preservation. Thus has it ever been with humans. Think politician, a trait necessary for success in most any field, but especially in the public eye.

These things may not matter to you, as he states what he states. I would suggest only that you not be so simple minded as to think everyone believes everything they put out, especially when a topic is radioactive. Witness today's (thankfully dwindling) cancel culture. Tatchell's initial statement rings true and was brave in these times. Pity he felt compelled to throw out the context blur when cornered by the tip of the hysteria spear.

I know Gold attaches the word heretics to his channel. The questions is, will he live up to that in the long run?

I don't use the word anti anymore. It doesn't mean anything. Everything is politics and that translates into currency, not to mention safety. It's nice, though, that Tatchell's comment is out there now free to hang out in the subconscious of some and do some tinkering (let's hope) in the old basement.
