I personally feel like touching a boy's hair like that when you just met him in a public restroom is a little weird. I wasn't there, and I don't know what the interaction you two had was like, so I can't really judge, but affectionately touching a boy like that in a place like a public restroom when you just met him a few seconds ago seems a bit odd to me. Maybe you disagree, but I personally wouldn't do that.

Anyways, glad you had a nice boy moment.
