Baby steps. Spend a couple of afternoons this week going through the phone and one by one and delete each app account and then delete the apps. Don't just delete the app without deleting your account, or else someone will be able to reinstall and log in using your phone number to reset your passwords. Over the next couple of weeks set aside a couple of afternoons a week to work on your computer, deleting all of your accounts one by one.

Rather than formatting your hard drives, you might think about encrypting them with a program such as veracrypt. The most secure pass phrase is one you can remember without writing down. Something like, "I shower atthe gym daily" would take a password cracker a month or longer to break, especially if you include a misspelling. Just make sure it's something that you can remember and don't use the same password that you've used previously.

In a few weeks your digital footprint will be wiped clean and maybe then, without all of those footprints weighing you down, you won't feel like committing suicide anymore. Whatever you decide, people will have no way to access your digital files or conversations.
