I have never advocated "a rejection of property rights altogether". I have no designs on your Louis quatorze furniture. People should enjoy their money and buy gorgeous things, particularly if they are men of good taste (or are boylovers - which is the same thing). I am just against the Establishment's successfully fought war against the working class in my country, the consequent erosion of civil liberties, the pollution of the rivers, the destruction of nature, the extraction of wealth from the poorest, and the replacement of social consensus, economic security, high standards in the arts, and democratically managed public space, with a yank philosophy of turbo-charged competition that is the antithesis of civilised existence.
