I’ve heard the term. It’s used entirely as a slur. Despite the fact that it refers to child molestation it doesn’t actually used differentially by the antis that use it. All pedophiles are molesters in waiting, they molest kids in their minds, action matter less than attractions. So long as our attractions are seen as deviant and evil there will be no differentiation in most people’s minds. Our very existence is seen as a threat. There are a few schools of thought on how to change that, I’m still not sure which trajectory I think is best. |
