I chose 1975 cause it's to me when the idea that everyone started to go to University as a general rule... Post secondary became a thing. I wouldn't have much memory of that time, but I do remember it was truly in full swing in the 80's and beyond. 2025 representing 50 years. I just ask myself, as I look at the state of things what has it all been for? The state of things are not good! Health care around here is hurting big time, people on the streets, drug, violence, and theft is as common as American Apple Pie... The heaps of Debts that the individual owe, pales to the endless insanity that the sovereign owes... $35 Trillion! Electric car stuff is kind of crumbling, Pollution as bad as ever... Wars? Take a look around... depression? Drugs are being prescribe at fear pitches, and still male youth under 18yo persecuted, or made to be victims for erotic passion play shared. WHATS THE VISION! What the goal in all these studies? Is their a collective accomplishment to be had? To lower the age of consent? to make it higher? To decriminalize the notion that every male youth that shares in sexual exploits should be deemed this atrocious abuse? It's only been 50 years. Do you realize the cost?! Vs. the nothingness of any kind of resolution. If you want to be the PhD apologist, then that's your prerogative... but to me I put much higher standards to this entire idea of "University". Entire lives destroyed because boys making out in an atmosphere of delightful fun, is interpreted (and demanded to be such) as an extreme abuse, so hurtful, damaging and wrong... Imagine! A young man of 12, 14, 16 years old where the physiology is crying out to be that exact way! Imagine! jail time for he, (or should it be) his older friend depending an simply an age variant. PhD ready to help send anyone regardless to prison, and a life of degrading titles and no opportunity whatsoever. Brutal interventions, that must lead to drama, hysteria, judgment, punishment, persecution and a whole lot of experts making money. UNIVERSITY - Is it all that it's cracked up to be after 50 Years? Again what's the vision, the goal? in this case, and in general. So So many in law, psychology, economics, poly sci., Sociology, and criminology... Why? Perhaps you're just part of it? Some kind of paid counsellor yourself? I don't rally care... I'm just asking as a matter of discussion why, looking to elevate standards, as perhaps you might want to do as well? |
