The name and author are correct. From GLTTA:
Esser, Kevin, "Age of Wonders" in NAMBLA Bulletin, Vol. XIX, No. 2, October 1998, pp. 24-26. Set in the USA in what was then twenty years in the future, the narrator's 12-year-old boyfriend Joey, son of one of his former boys, is an enthusiastic follower of the new culture in which boys only are increasingly audacious in vaunting their sexiness with provocative clothing and sexual play, drawing unfavourable comparison with the culture when Joey's father had been 12 and the narrator's boy.
