More accurately...

... boys are not allowed to consent. That's certainly something to take into consideration as a BL. But let's not confuse social prohibition with natural laws. Teenage brains, and even younger brains, are perfectly able to process what sex and its consequences mean, so as to agree or not to it (as long as they have been correctly informed and the context is free enough). Of course their perspective on it is different. An old man and a young man also have a different perspective, and many sexual behaviors of the youth may look foolish to old folks. Who's right? Is the more restrained, less daring perspective always better? It's easy to rationalize as objective one's own judgment. But what is the right ratio between safety and fun? That's a very subjective decision to be made.

Of course, there are some extreme cases where we can reasonably consider obvious that the consent of the kid is invalid. Like a kid who would say: who cares if I get AIDS, I don't give a fuck about the future, I want to have sex right now regardless! Some guidance from adults, even if coercive, may be necessary to take into consideration the interests of both the future kid/adult and the society as a whole, which needs functional individuals on the long run. Where the line should be drawn is a very political decision.

Anyway, every single day, many boys in the world consent to sex with adults... even if they are not allowed to. The desire is just too strong for them to resist, that is, if they have any intent of resisting it at all, which is often not the case. Are these boys wrong? Well, maybe according to your own ethics, but there is nothing universal about it. And from a consequentialist moral perspective, the legitimacy of the supposed protection of children regarding sex is far from being obvious, as many drawbacks and side effects need to be considered, even if we take out of the equation the interests of BLs themselves.

Lots of happy boys to you,

FF
