Eliminate the DHS, NSA, ATF, DEA, EPA, Depts of Education and Energy, EEOC, and a few more bloated and bureaucrat-filled agencies. While we';re at it, eliminate the Federal Reserve and fo back to gold-backed currency issued by the Treasury Dept.

I'd have to look into this more to have an informed opinion, but that sounds like a super bad idea. Those three letter agencies perform some useful functions at least, don't they? If we get rid of the DEA, who's going to regulate and set standards for the quality of the food and drugs we consume? If we get rid of the EPA, who's going to enforce regulations governing pollution? Also, wouldn't going back to the gold standard at this point be super detrimental to the economy?
