It's not a good practice to try to dox the admins or cogs by narrowing down who may or may not be in their ranks. Out of respect for the admins personal security and privacy tpka "Tyred" can neither confirm or deny being an admin.

Lol, are you now trying to not so subtly claim that you might be a cog? This is absolutely irrelevant to what we are talking about. We are talking about you potentially misleading new people into thinking you have standing here that you just dont have.

As for "official roles" we don't have any official roles here at BC except for the "cogs" who largely work in the background to keep the site running and again, cogs don't publicize what nickname they go by when casually posting, so you never know which posters might also be a cog.

Again, irrelevant. Since we dont know who is a cog or not, all we have to go on are peoples posts under a non-cog nickname. And its not a good look to constantly be trying to claim authority for the Tyred nickname, that you just dont have.

The fact remains that tpka "Tyred" has made a habit of welcoming people to BC for years now and has earned the title of UOWW in the minds of a lot of people.

I dont think this is true. I have never seen anyone support you, or your unofficial welcoming. I have no reason to believe this, as I have never seen anyone support you on the board, and I dont care about your claims about what happens off board.

Even if they did, I would still continue to post to warn people that you are potentially signalling a role that you do not have, in order to get people to trust you.

There is no need to decide who is "telling the truth" about a made up, informal title such as Unofficial Official Welcome Wagoneer.

There is a lot of need to warn new people when someone appears to be trying to claim authority and trust that they just dont have.

Apertado also does a lot of welcoming, but they have never tried to claim status or authority off the back of it.
